Simulation and Experimental Study of a Split High-Speed Precision Seeding System

According to the agronomic requirements of cotton precision seeding, researchers designed a split seeding system achieve high-speed on membrane. The 3D models used in simulation process were created using Solidworks. They built-in Flow Simulation plug-in SolidWorks simulate flow field drum and grasp air velocity pressure changes. CFD-DEM (computational fluid dynamics discrete element method) coupling method was positive airflow transport seeds, so as movement seeds seed tube. EDEM (engineering modeling) hole seeder, understand speed trajectory inside analyze reasons for missed reseeding. A three-factor, five-stage quadratic rotation orthogonal combination test Design-expert 13.0 software. This evaluates performance by establishing response surface rate, seeder speed, negative pressure, diameter factors. optimal parameter is obtained optimizing regression equation, which further verified bench tests. Under 47.98 r/min, 1.96 kPa 3.5 mm, achieved single rate 90.9% 4.3%. verification results are consistent with optimization results, meet film seeding. research provides better technical solution application development seeder.
